We need a Key Account Manager to help us expand and nurture our US accounts. As a vital member of our sales team, you’ll take the lead on wholesale sales for Bellroy in the US, connect with new and existing key retail partners regionally, apply our sophisticated sales process and manage our US sales team to make sure we’re all pulling in the same direction to help our rapidly growing business thrive. You will be the leading face of Bellroy in the US, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key accounts that range from major department stores to some of the finest boutiques in the country.

You have at least a few years’ experience managing wholesale sales, building long-term relationships with retailers. You’re confident (but not cocky – there’s a difference, and you know it), resilient and full of initiative. And you can spin a (genuine) story like a boss. Face to face, over the phone, in an email… doesn’t matter. It’s all the same to you. Human to human.
You have a little bit of design geek in you. We challenge the way carry goods have always been designed, and often the brilliance of our products needs some explanation. You’re comfortable doing so in a compelling, well-informed and genuine manner. You’re believable, because you tell people what they need to know, without the obvious “sales talk”. You understand how retailers can benefit from partnering with us, and know just how to deliver that pitch so they understand it too. Converting someone to the Bellroy way isn’t too hard though – because our products put their money where your mouth is, so to speak.
You’re motivated by a challenge, and by delivering exceptional results for a young brand doing awesome things. You’ve got the skills needed to build relationships and make sales, and these skills are wrapped up in integrity and respect. This role is full time, based in Culver City, CA. You must already have working rights in the USA. The position will involve regular travel throughout the US – often at short notice, for a few days at a time.
