CRM Coordinator

As our CRM Coordinator, you’ll support this work by executing and refining email campaigns and flows, setting up tests, managing audiences, and helping us optimise how we communicate with our customers. You’ll get hands-on experience with tools like Klaviyo and Segment, while working with a team that values innovative insight, collaboration and trying something new.

This role will be in the marketing team and reporting to the CRM lead. The role requires cross-team collaboration and communication (working with creative, data, tech and marketing teams), so you’ll need to feel comfortable working cross-functionally and keeping things moving. The ideal working style for this role is detail-oriented, proactive, and process-driven. You’ll be managing multiple campaigns and tasks at once, so strong organisation and good communication are key.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU…

  • Have 1–2 years experience in a marketing, CRM, or a digital communications role - preferably in eCommerce, retail, or consumer-focused brands
  • Have experience using key platforms such as Email Service Providers (ideally Klaviyo) and Customer Data Platforms (ideally Segment) to build and send marketing emails, and to support personalised, data-driven marketing and campaign targeting
  • Are confident working with Google Sheets and understand the basics of customer segmentation and email performance metrics (open rates, click-throughs, conversions, etc.)
  • Demonstrate clear and professional communication skills; whether briefing a designer, documenting a new process, or updating a manager, you take initiative, asking insightful questions, and work independently once tasks are understood
  • Possess a natural curiosity about customer behavior and a strong interest in using data to personalise marketing and enhance customer experiences, while being eager to develop your skills in CRM and customer retention.

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, YOU WOULD HAVE…

  • Scheduled an email campaign in Klaviyo - creating audience segments, setting up A/B tests, and QA’ing assets before setting it live
  • Reviewed historic product sales and current trends to select the product mix for an upcoming campaign, then collaborated with the creative and marketing teams to plan next month’s campaign concepts and brainstorm new campaign opportunities
  • Worked with the ecommerce team to get dynamic content live on site, creating audiences and displaying relevant content to improve their experience
  • Analysed recent campaign performance - including open rates, click-throughs, and revenue - and shared insights with the email team to help optimise upcoming sends
  • Partnered with the data team to set up an automated process for our back-in-stock emails
  • Planned a new version of the post-purchase journey, setting up flow logic, send delays, and purchase-based dynamic content
  • Led our weekly email execution meeting, reviewing task progress, campaign timelines, and discussing creative direction with the team

Our Spaces

Bellroy' is a fusion of our two homes – Bells Beach and Fitzroy. Bells Beach brings a relaxed, outdoor vibe to balance Fitzroy's creative, urban style. The city and the sea; inspiration and adventure. Together they provide a perfect balance.

Bells Beach

Our beach HQ sits behind giant sandstone cliffs that overlook one of Australia’s best-known surfing coastlines. It’s where our Product Designers experiment in the Maker Lab, and our Sales team consume awesome amounts of espresso and Skype bandwidth. Things are more tranquil here than our Fitzroy neighbours and we like the focus that can create. There’s a cafe right next door if you need a quick bite and our 11am surf check always provides the perfect chance to reset the mind with some salt air.

Fitzroy

Our Fitzroy space is immersed in the middle of Melbourne’s creative hub. It’s where our Creative, Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams develop campaigns and ensure each Bellroy is sent safely across the world. Walk out the door and you’ll find streets bursting with energy (and the best ramen joint this side of Tokyo).

Remotely

Outside of our two main headquarters we have a team that works remotely - from Western Australia to parts of Asia, the USA and Europe. Being global is at the heart of Bellroy, it keeps us connected, and makes sure we see life from many different perspectives.
