Digital Marketing Assistant


We’re growing and searching for a Digital Marketing Assistant to support our Digital Sales team so we can get Bellroy into more corners of the (digital) world. We’re proud of the products we put out into the (physical) world and want to make sure they can reach our potential customers, wherever they may be. If you’re an analytical problem solver with a keen interest in online marketing, this might be the role for you!

In this role, you’ll help ensure Bellroy’s online marketing efforts across Web, Social & Amazon run smoothly, with high attention to detail. By working closely with our Email, Advertising, Amazon & UX channel owners, you will help to coordinate, test & execute digital campaigns to progress our growth on a global scale.

  • Have recently graduated with up to 2 years of experience in technical and/or performance marketing and driven to help an online business grow
  • Have a high level of attention to detail, organization and focus
  • Are an excellent communicator and team player, you might have a preference to stick your head into a spreadsheet or task list but you know how to bounce ideas around and collaborate with others
  • Have a technical inclination (perhaps you are interested in data analysis or advanced spreadsheet functionality)
  • Think a workplace with dogs, coffee, breakout spaces and casual dresscode sounds like a great place to spend your days
  • Want to work for a company that cares about doing good things for the world


  • Met with our Performance Marketer to identify and test new campaign optimisations
  • Worked collaboratively to plan and prepare for the launch of our latest tech product campaign
  • Participated in a brainstorm with the digital sales team on the future of first party data usage
  • Assisted with designing an experiment to test a new marketing channel
  • Set up and monitored a new Meta campaign in our tier 1 markets for the latest GWP promotion
  • Maintained product feeds – monitoring disapprovals and filling in gaps
  • Made some merchandising updates to our Amazon US storefront
  • Pulled a report from Google Analytics on Australian visitor behaviour in the past 30 days
  • Created automated performance reporting for Pinterest (paid & organic)
  • Briefed the creative team on new ad requirements for a paid social campaign
  • Met with your manager for a 1-on-1 and discussed attribution modelling

Our beach HQ sits behind giant sandstone cliffs that overlook one of Australia’s best-known surfing coastlines. It’s where our Product Designers experiment in the Maker Lab, and our Sales team consume awesome amounts of espresso and Skype bandwidth. Things are more tranquil here than our Fitzroy neighbours and we like the focus that can create. There’s a cafe right next door if you need a quick bite and our 11am surf check always provides the perfect chance to reset the mind with some salt air.


Our Fitzroy space is immersed in the middle of Melbourne’s creative hub. It’s where our Creative, Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams develop campaigns and ensure each Bellroy is sent safely across the world. Walk out the door and you’ll find streets bursting with energy (and the best ramen joint this side of Tokyo). There’s also an olympic-size pool just around the corner for those in need of a lunchtime refresh.


Outside of our two main headquarters we have a team that works remotely - from Western Australia to parts of Asia, the USA and Europe. Being global is at the heart of Bellroy, it keeps us connected, and makes sure we see life from many different perspectives.
