Sales - Account Manager

We need an Account Manager to help us expand and nurture our Australian accounts. As a vital member of our sales team, you’ll connect with new and existing retail partners regionally, apply our sophisticated sales process and work closely with our Regional Sales Manager to manage independent accounts and help our rapidly growing business thrive.

You have 1-2 years’ worth of sales experience within wholesale, retail management or related environments, and maintain current relationships within the fashion, accessory or design space. You’re conscientious, adaptable and approachable.

You’re motivated by a challenge, and are quick to get behind a young brand when you see they’re doing awesome things. You’ve got the skills needed to build relationships and make sales, and these skills are wrapped up in integrity and respect. At Bellroy, we focus on long-term quality relationships with the right people, to ensure our common business goals are met. You understand how retailers can benefit from partnering with us, and know how to deliver that message effectively. If you’re looking for a sales job that’s a bit different, this might be for you.


  • Worked through the territories call cycle to talk through current sell-through, SOH, refill, VM opportunities and ensured there is at least one Bellroy “Advocate” within every store
  • Reviewed outgoing orders to ensure shipping deadlines and retailer compliance is met
  • Met with the Regional Sales Manager to review the Australian market and suggested growth opportunities
  • Made plans for local and interstate trips to conduct meetings with retailers to open new accounts
  • Implemented visual merchandising standards across your account base
  • Reported all actions taken and account updates within your territory in the Account Tracking project, ensuring this is up to date prior to the weekly team meeting

Our beach HQ sits behind giant sandstone cliffs that overlook one of Australia’s best-known surfing coastlines. It’s where our Product Designers experiment in the Maker Lab, and our Sales team consume awesome amounts of espresso and Skype bandwidth. Things are more tranquil here than our Fitzroy neighbours and we like the focus that can create. There’s a cafe right next door if you need a quick bite and our 11am surf check always provides the perfect chance to reset the mind with some salt air.


Our Fitzroy space is immersed in the middle of Melbourne’s creative hub. It’s where our Creative, Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams develop campaigns and ensure each Bellroy is sent safely across the world. Walk out the door and you’ll find streets bursting with energy (and the best ramen joint this side of Tokyo). There’s also an olympic-size pool just around the corner for those in need of a lunchtime refresh.


Outside of our two main headquarters we have a team that works remotely - from Western Australia to parts of Asia, the USA and Europe. Being global is at the heart of Bellroy, it keeps us connected, and makes sure we see life from many different perspectives.
