Marketplace Operations Coordinator

We sell our products through multiple channels with a digital marketplace portfolio of 18 (and counting) including Amazon, Rakuten and Iconic. As we continue to expand our reach through new platforms, we’re searching for a new team member to help streamline our digital marketplace processes, ensure operational efficiency, and make sure our products reach our customers seamlessly.

This is a newly created role and as our Marketplace Operations Coordinator, you’ll be an integral member of our Logistics & Sales Operations Team. You’ll work closely with our Amazon E-commerce Manager, Digital Content Coordinator and the rest of the Logistics team.   • Have a couple of years of experience working, ideally in marketplace operations or a sales operations role within an e-commerce business with a desire to develop your skills further in this area
  • Can navigate your way through new systems and are interested in understanding how marketplaces function
  • Are proactive and self-motivated, you take responsibility for the work you produce but also know when it’s time, or better to bring in others for their input
  • Don’t mind navigating through ambiguity and comfortable within an environment that is constantly evolving
  • Are driven to create and improve processes. You want to find better ways of doing things and would enjoy documenting these to ensure others can follow these with ease
  • Are exceptionally organised, with incredible attention to detail - you’re comfortable working in spreadsheets and enjoy working with numbers
  • Possess strong communication skills and want to work collaboratively in a team within a fast-paced, agile environment

  • Collaborated with the production team to develop a warehouse process for returned products from the various marketplaces
  • Conducted a weekly check on our Amazon Account Health, making sure our shipping performance, policy compliance and customer service performance meet our standards
  • Sat in on our bi-weekly Amazon Account catch-ups with our US Account Manager to review monthly sales, listing optimisation opportunities and upcoming campaigns
  • Worked with the Digital Content Coordinator to create a process to set up our listings on a new marketplace in Singapore
  • Met with your manager for your weekly 1-1 and talked about something new you learned from this week
  • Developed and implemented a process to monitor and remove unlicensed sellers across various marketplaces, to ensure optimal listing performance
  • Joined our company All Eyes Meeting, and had a preview of new products we will be releasing soon

Our beach HQ sits behind giant sandstone cliffs that overlook one of Australia’s best-known surfing coastlines. It’s where our Product Designers experiment in the Maker Lab, and our Sales team consume awesome amounts of espresso and Skype bandwidth. Things are more tranquil here than our Fitzroy neighbours and we like the focus that can create. There’s a cafe right next door if you need a quick bite and our 11am surf check always provides the perfect chance to reset the mind with some salt air.


Our Fitzroy space is immersed in the middle of Melbourne’s creative hub. It’s where our Creative, Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams develop campaigns and ensure each Bellroy is sent safely across the world. Walk out the door and you’ll find streets bursting with energy (and the best ramen joint this side of Tokyo).


Outside of our two main headquarters we have a team that works remotely - from Western Australia to parts of Asia, the USA and Europe. Being global is at the heart of Bellroy, it keeps us connected, and makes sure we see life from many different perspectives.
