Graphic Designer - Product & Partnerships


At Bellroy, we pour our heart, soul and many design hours into helping people move through the world seamlessly. As we continue to expand our product offering and find new audiences around the world, we’re looking for a mid-weight graphic designer to help define what that looks like – literally.

Someone who can make sure the Bellroy brand is shining brightly (and cohesively) through our product partnerships and special make-up projects; who can bring communication design skills to our product design function; and who can work with our CMF, creative, production and partnerships teams to pitch collaboration ideas and work out how to best apply graphic treatments to our product. Someone who can bring the cherries to our proverbial sundaes, if you will.

  • Generated a pitch deck for a potential brand partnership – including design mocks of how that partnership might show up in product form.
  • Worked with our Corporate Sales team to deliver a number of branding proposals for pending clients.
  • Brought new collaborations and special make-ups (SMUs) to life, working closely with the partnerships and product design teams to iterate a concept from pitch stage through to approval.
  • Presented some ideas (research included) for new branding applications and product trims for a future range.
  • Collaborated with the product design team and commissioned artists on a new pattern concept.
  • Worked with our Brand Communications Director to conceptualise how our new campaign copy may be executed on product.
  • Brainstorm and jammed with our Bells Beach based product design team.


  • A degree and between 4-8 years of experience in graphic or communication design
  • Solid knowledge of – and passion for– product design, brand communication and product collaborations
  • Ninja-level skills in Adobe – Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects from start to finish
  • Experience working directly with product is a bonus
  • A keen eye for detail and understanding of how those elements make a product zing
  • An open mind, tonnes of curiosity and a willingness to work hard to solve a problem

This is a full-time role, based out of either our Collingwood Office or Jan Juc Office – with regular travel between the two spaces. We have a hybrid working environment so also have WFH flexibility.

'Bellroy' is a fusion of our two homes – Bells Beach and Fitzroy. Bells Beach brings a relaxed, outdoor vibe to balance Fitzroy's creative, urban style. The city and the sea; inspiration and adventure. Together they provide a perfect balance.

Bells Beach

Our beach HQ sits behind giant sandstone cliffs that overlook one of Australia’s best-known surfing coastlines. It’s where our Product Designers experiment in the Maker Lab, and our Sales team consume awesome amounts of espresso and Skype bandwidth. Things are more tranquil here than our Fitzroy neighbours and we like the focus that can create. There’s a cafe right next door if you need a quick bite and our 11am surf check always provides the perfect chance to reset the mind with some salt air.


Our Fitzroy space is immersed in the middle of Melbourne’s creative hub. It’s where our Creative, Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams develop campaigns and ensure each Bellroy is sent safely across the world. Walk out the door and you’ll find streets bursting with energy (and the best ramen joint this side of Tokyo). There’s also an olympic-size pool just around the corner for those in need of a lunchtime refresh.


Outside of our two main headquarters we have a team that works remotely - from Western Australia to parts of Asia, the USA and Europe. Being global is at the heart of Bellroy, it keeps us connected, and makes sure we see life from many different perspectives.
