IN A NUTSHELL

Bellroy exists to inspire better ways to carry, use business as a force for good, and help the world flourish. Discovering and building mutually beneficial relationships with external partners who share our desire to push boundaries, experiment creatively and cut through the noise is key to achieving our brand mission. We’re on the hunt for a natural people person with strong organisational skills who can work with our content creators, journalists and brand partners to nurture and scale our creator (influencer) programs and press strategy.

That’s where you’d come in. Reporting to our Brand Partnerships Manager and supporting our Endorsement and Creative teams, you'll both craft and communicate our product and brand campaigns to our media and creator partners. Bringing a mix of ingenuity, grit, and coordination to the role, you'd work to facilitate conversations with current and potential partners, apply your brand filter to inbound enquiries to identify opportunities and work with our team to bring them to life.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU...

  • Have 2-5 years of experience in a relevant PR or social media role (extra points for experience in creator marketing for global brands)
  • Are genuinely interested in social media trends and have a developed understanding of the creator landscape globally
  • Care about the details and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get into the nitty-gritty. From pitching press to product seeding, the ability to own this whole process excites you
  • Are confident in how you present, comfortable acting as a custodian of the brand and prioritise building meaningful relationships and interactions with others
  • Possess a knack for writing creative briefs, with clear written and verbal communication that strikes the right balance of friendly and professional for our external partners
  • A sense of what makes a ‘brand’ and some calibration on style and tone – you have the ability to consider what’s a good idea versus the right idea (for us, specifically)
  • Excellent organisational, project management and stakeholder management skills, you’re able to juggle multiple priorities while communicating your ideas and progress with the team along the way
  • Are comfortable using different systems including email marketing software, influencer management software and project management tools (we use Klayvio, Creator IQ, Asana & Basecamp)

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK YOU MIGHT HAVE…

  • Curated a roster of potential creators and publications for an upcoming travel campaign, shared it with the broader team and finalised the list based on their feedback
  • Managed the Bellroy Press directory and inbox; assessing and responding to new opportunities and managing outcomes related to product seeding and earned media placements
  • Met with our Brand Communications Director to deep dive into Bellroy’s organic press strategy
  • Noticed a process improvement opportunity within our creator campaign structure and shared how you would go about actioning it with your manager
  • Assisted with campaign content approvals and post-campaign reporting; and looked at ways to improve in the future - communicating current performance internally and using it to evaluate the continuation of external content partnerships
  • Supported the content execution of organic and paid marketing campaigns; having written creator briefs, managed talent engagement contracts, and used performance data to determine compensation - vetting potential creators and media partners
  • Reviewed applications for our latest Carry Crew intake and onboarded them in to UGC content campaign, using our influencer platform, CreatorIQ.
  • Kept up to date with social and industry trends, having sought out new and innovative ways to work with established creators as well as those that are new and up-and-coming, bringing your new and creative ideas to the table

Our Spaces

Bellroy' is a fusion of our two homes – Bells Beach and Fitzroy. Bells Beach brings a relaxed, outdoor vibe to balance Fitzroy's creative, urban style. The city and the sea; inspiration and adventure. Together they provide a perfect balance.

Bells Beach

Our beach HQ sits behind giant sandstone cliffs that overlook one of Australia’s best-known surfing coastlines. It’s where our Product Designers experiment in the Maker Lab, and our Sales team consume awesome amounts of espresso and Skype bandwidth. Things are more tranquil here than our Fitzroy neighbours and we like the focus that can create. There’s a cafe right next door if you need a quick bite and our 11am surf check always provides the perfect chance to reset the mind with some salt air.

Fitzroy

Our Fitzroy space is immersed in the middle of Melbourne’s creative hub. It’s where our Creative, Marketing, Engineering and Operations teams develop campaigns and ensure each Bellroy is sent safely across the world. Walk out the door and you’ll find streets bursting with energy (and the best ramen joint this side of Tokyo).

Remotely

Outside of our two main headquarters we have a team that works remotely - from Western Australia to parts of Asia, the USA and Europe. Being global is at the heart of Bellroy, it keeps us connected, and makes sure we see life from many different perspectives.
